Interchangeable Notebook Power Supplies

What I hate most is that the notebooks power supplies all have different heads to prevent you from plugging a power supply designed for one notebook into a different notebook. Even different notebooks made by the same manufacturer generally comes with different power supply heads.

That's why I was really surprised that the power supply head from my new HP Pavilion dv6119us notebook is the same head as the jack on my HP Pavilion dv1227us notebook. In fact, the power supply was able to power up the dv1227us notebook.

This is extremely convenient for me, because I use both notebooks. Being able to swap the notebooks on my desk without bothering with plugs and wires is really a blessing.
