HP DV6-3050US eSATA Drive Disconnects After Plugging In USB Drive

My HP DV6-3050US notebook computer has four USB ports. One of the USB port provides the eSATA connector functionality. Today, I had a chance to use the Vantec NexStar NST-D100SU hard drive dock with the eSATA connector. But it seems that I can't use the eSATA port when other USB hard drives are plugged into the other USB ports. If I have the eSATA drive and USB drive plugged in on boot, the computer never sees the eSATA drive. On the other hand, if I boot the computer with the eSATA drive, it works fine, until I plug in the USB drives. At that time, the eSATA drive disappears, but the USB drives works fine.

Anyone experience this kind of problem before?
