PuTTY

Is PuTTY available for Mac OS X?
If not, what are some other SSH utilities for Mac OS X that can do SSH over HTTP proxy?

Most programs just use the OpenSSH client that comes standard with OS X.

Note that under OS X (and probably most *nix distros), the terminal emulator and the ssh client are separate. They are not available together like PuTTY and SecureCRT.

I have not tried it, but corkscrew should do what you need:

There are others, but they seem to require both server-side and client-side components.

I found Corkscrew, but there is no Mac OS X binary. You have a binary version of Corkscrew?

No, just compile it...

Haha . . . that's the problem. I can't. I'd have done it if I could. And yes, I know how easy it is to run "configure" and "make". I don't have a compiler installed on Mac OS X and I can't install it right now.

Thanks! I'll use this binary with the built-in SSH client. And attached below is the source code to comply with GPL.

Attached File: corkscrew-2.0.tar.gz (55 KB)
