How to make a bootable iATKOS ML2 USB drive on Mac OS XI'm in the process of getting my Asus G46VW-BSI5N06 gaming ultrabook to triple boot Windows 8, Ubuntu 12.10, and Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion). So far, pre-installed Windows 8 and Ubuntu 12.10 is working. But I'm having trouble getting started with Mac OS X, as I couldn't even get iATKOS ML2 to boot. Disk Utility on my Leopard has so many options, I'm just not sure what's the correct option to choose. After watching the iATKOS - How to make a bootable iATKOS ML2 USB Drive - Mac only video, the process became clear. But I'd rather get down to the task with a written set of instructions than sitting through a five minute video. I have transcribed the video into step-by-step instructions below. 1. Launch Disk Utility. Jake I tested this process on Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard). The final USB drive still won't boot. So I'm guessing that Mac OS X 10.5.8 is too old to make a bootable Mountain Lion USB. Can anyone confirm one way or another? Jake 20 install “ML2_Bootloader_Installer.pkg.zip"... venhow Hi, venhow! Did you get the process to work? Is your step 20 the same as the step 15 above? Or am I mis-understanding what installing ML2_Bootloader_Installer.pkg.zip means? Jake
