Asus G46VW - Right Touchpad Button Doesn't Work on Ubuntu 12.10I don't use the touchpad too much--I prefer a mouse. But the days that I only carry my laptop, I use the touchpad extensively. Ubuntu 12.10 is now the primary operating system on my Asus G46VW gaming ultrabook. So the first time I tried to use the touchpad, I found that the right touchpad button doesn't work in Ubuntu 12.10. I did manage to find a way to use it and keep working. On Ubuntu 12.10, with this notebook computer, you can tap the touchpad with two fingers. That's the same as pressing the right touchpad button. You can use three fingers to tap the touchpad, which acts as pressing the middle mouse button. Until there is a cure for this problem, this is probably the best solution to using the touchpad. Otherwise, a wireless mouse is your best bet. Jake Hello Jake! I have the same laptop and my primary OS is Ubuntu 13.04 now. I wanted to ask if you could solve the right-click button issue, and how you did it. If you havent and I find a way, Ill let you know :) Thanks a lot!! Alejandro I haven't found a true solution yet. Still using the multi-finger tap. Let me know if you do. I do know that if you use Ubuntu in a virtual machine, then the right touchpad button works fine. That may be a solution for you if you don't need Ubuntu to be the primary operating system. Jake
