Motorola XOOM Booting EndlesslyYesterday, I experienced a strange symptom with my Motorola XOOM. It rebooted itself, but it didn't stop booting. Every so often, I'd see the Android desktop, but the tablet automatically reboots again. A soft reset (holding the power button and holding the volume up button) did not solve the button. The soft reset causes it to reboot, but it still doesn't stop booting. I ended up having to use the Android recovery screen to wipe the full data and do a factory reset to resolve this issue. The following is the process:
In the Android recovery menu, you can also try the "clear cache partition" option first. I have tried it and it has not worked for me. In my case, wiping the data and performing a factory reset is the only option that worked. Mel
