Market on Eken M-001It wasn't until recently that I realized why Android Market is not available on all these Android tablets that came out of China. In order to qualify for Android Market, the tablet must meet these criterias (based on AppsLib): 'Not all devices need GPS, compass, 2-MPel autofocus camera and physical buttons, all being part of the minimal requirements to qualify for Google Market.' That explains why our Eken M-001 tablet didn't come with the Android Market app. But now, there are several additional choices that could help bring quality apps to your tablet. There are the AppsLib and the Amazon Appstore. Both of these Android Market-like apps are available to distribute Android apps to your Android devices. Yesterday, I attempted to download and install the AppsLib. But for some reason, the first time I tried to install it, it said that it couldn't be installed to the Eken M-001. However, I tried installing the APK on the storage card again and it worked. I'm in the process of downloading Amazon Appstore app and will be trying it with the Eken M-001 as well. Chieh Cheng
