"Printer drive was not installed" on Windows 11

Wiped my Windows 11 tablet and tried to install my printer. Was able to find the printer via Windows Update. But when I attempt to install the printer, it reports "Printer driver was not installed." Why? What can I do?

Looks like I had some apps open, which prevented new printer driver from being installed. Strange a running software could do that. But after closing all the running programs, I was able to install the printer driver without a problem.
