Permission Problem When Sharing FolderI tried to share a folder today, but got following error message: "Windows cannot access \kingdom\SE That's ridiculous, because I shared two other folders in the exact same way on the same server. The two other folders are accessible. These two folders are on the system drive (C:). The one that is not working is drive S:. The server runs Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. The workstation runs Windows 8.1 64-bit. I'm so baffled with Windows network shares. Mel Here is what the permission looks like for everyone: Mel Ok. I finally figured it out. In addition to the "Sharing" tab, there is also a "Security" tab. "Everyone" must be added to the "Security" tab as well (see screen shot below). Mel
