Can't See Another Windows Computer on the LANI have a number of notebook computers on site. In fact, a lot of computers on site. All of the notebook computer could see the Windows share server. However, this new laptop computer we just purchased and put into service cannot see the server Windows host name, while every other computers can see it just fine. This new notebook computer is configured the exact same way as every other computer on the network. It's running Windows 8.1, like a few other computers on our network. It is on WiFi, can connect to the Internet and can actually ping the server by IP. But it can't see the computer by its Windows share name. Both computers are on the same wireless access point. What could cause this problem? And how do I fix it? Mel
