Lenovo Y50-70 Fan ReplacementMy son's gaming laptop fan started making grinding noise. It's an expensive laptop, so it's best to replace the fan immediately. A new fan is no more than $10 to $20. But a new gaming laptop is $1000. Preventative maintenance is the best course of action. I found a "New CPU Cooling Fan For Lenovo Y50 Y50-70 Y50-70AM Y50-70AS Y50-80 DC28000EQF0 AT14R0010M0 series Laptop" for $9 shipped on Amazon Prime. Pretty good deal. It's going to arrive 2 days from now. Will post instructions on replacing the fan then. The following are the specs based off the Amazon product photo (see attached below). Sunon Kenneth Got the replacement fan yesterday. Its label is different from Amazon product photo (see below). But looks like an exact replacement. The specs are: QUETTERLEE Kenneth There are 10 screws under the Y50-70 laptop that needs to be removed. A Philips precision screwdrive will do. There are 5 screws at the bottom, 2 screws at the top corners, two on the side, and 1 in the middle. Kenneth
