HP Pavilion dv6119us Notebook Supports 4 GB of RAMI just tried to upgrade a HP Pavilion dv6119us laptop computer to Windows 10. Windows 10 upgrade program reported that it can't install Windows 10, because it needs 2 GB of RAM. There is only 1.5 GB of RAM installed. HP specifies 2 GB as the maximum supported memory on this laptop, but I just took 4 GB of RAM out of another laptop, popped it in, turned it on. I can happily report that this laptop supports 4 GB of RAM just fine. So, I'll be ordering more RAM from Amazon for this laptop soon. It's 1.5 GB RAM configuration as it exists in the laptop when I got my hands on it: 1GB, DDR2, 667, CL5, PC2-5300S-555-12-A0, 2Rx16 The 4 GB RAM came out of a HP Pavilion dv7-3160us notebook computer.
