Asus G74SX-BBK7 Supports Two Displays at Once

The Asus G74SX-BBK7 has became my primary computer for almost everything I do, whether that's writing a Word document, gaming, or watching a movie. Normally, I'd do some work while playing back a movie in a window. I use a single external 24" display while I keep the laptop lid closed. But tonight, I really wish I have two screens, so I can play back a movie and do work full-screen at the same time.

Question is, can the Asus G74XS-BBK7 handle two external displays? It has an external VGA port and an external HDMI port. I'm currently using the VGA port, rather than the HDMI port (see HDMI Port vs. VGA Port). So I decided to experiment.

What I found is that the Asus G74SX-BBK7 can support up to two displays at one time. That is two displays with any of these configurations:

Internal LCD and external VGA display.
Internal LCD and external HDMI display.
External VGA and external HDMI displays.
