Alternative Part for A2712 (MOSFET)

Can any one help me to find the correct alternative/equivalent of A2712 (MOSFET), being used to control DC power in notebook.

My one has been burnt due to overcharged (is that possible ?).
Someone given me A2393, but I have found it is different in feature. Because I have found A2712 looks like a 8-pin IC, but actually it is a 3-pin MOSFET.

I have failed to source the "A2712" in local market, but I want to try with a different model but equivalent in function.
