Host Name Became Case-SensitiveA strange problem started about a month ago. I have an Ubuntu Linux host that is named, "penguin". For the past ten, twenty years, I've been able to access it on numerous computers using that host name. But starting a month ago, several of my Windows 10 computers can no longer find that host computer. Ping reports: "Ping request could not find host penguin. Please check the name and try again." WinSCP reports: "gethostbyname: unknown error". PuTTY reports: "Unable to open connection to penguin gethostbyname: unknown error" What's even more strange is that, this past week, I found if I capitalize any of the characters in "penguin", or capitalize the entire word, the Windows 10 computers would be able to find it again. Isn't this weird? What's causing this problem? Boo
