First Impression of a HackintoshAfter installing Mac OS X on my MSi Wind U100-279US, I have tried to use it for a lot of different things. One thing I have noticed is that the "Alt" key is mapped to the "Open Apple" key, while the "Windows" key is unmapped. which is kind of weird. For me, it would be more logical to map the "Windows" key to the "Open Apple" key. And that's quite evident when you use Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2. When connecting remotely to a Windows machine, the "Alt" key no longer works, while the "Windows" key is mapped to "Alt". How strange is that? If "Windows" key has been mapped to the "Open Apple" key, and leaving the "Alt" key alone, Remote Desktop Connection would work perfectly with the "Alt" Key. Chieh Cheng My good friend, Sasha, solved this problem for me this morning. I've documented how to perform this swap in the "Swapping the Windows Key and the Alt Key on Mac OS X" TrackBack below.
