No $?XSESSION_IS_UP in KDE 3.5I use to check the $?XSESSION_IS_UP variable in KDE 3.1.4 on SuSE Linux 9.0 to see if I'm at the X window terminal to run some start up X configurations. However, today, I moved to KDE 3.5 on CentOS 5.5 and it seems that $?XSESSION_IS_UP is no longer there. Has anyone encountered this problem? And what are some solutions? Chieh Cheng I found that on KDE 3.5, you can check for "$?KDE_FULL_SESSION". I'm not sure if it does exactly the same as "$?XSESSION_IS_UP", but it seems to be working in my scripts so far.
