Word Mobile 6.1 Closes Extremely Slow

In the past, I have used Word Mobile 6.1 constantly on my Verizon XV6900 (HTC Touch) Windows Mobile 6 PDA phone. And it has already operated quite well. But just recently (maybe this week), it takes forever to close itself after I tap the "ok" button on the top-right hand corner. Based on my calculation, it takes 10 seconds for Word Mobile to close. And during that time, Word Mobile will not respond at all.

Word Mobile is really productive when I'm on the go. But right now, it's practically unusable. Switching between text files is a long an unproductive process.

Anyone seen this problem or have a solution?

Ok. I figured out the problem. The problem was that Word Mobile had placed too many temporary files into the "\Windows" directory. After cleaning out the Windows directory with a script I wrote, Word Mobile closed extremely fast.
