Warhammer: Mark of Chaos Patch Discrepency

I recently bought a brand new copy of the Warhammer: Mark of Chaos game for only $10 dollars online. And after installing it, my friend mentioned to me that there is a patch 1.72 that I should install. So I promptly downloaded the patch and applied it. The patch brings the Warhammer: Mark of Chaos up to 1.07.200. That's funny, I thought it was suppose to patch the game to 1.72. I ran the patch program again, but it reports that the game is already patched to 1.07.200. Worse, during the first patch install, I got a "Runtime Error" as shown in the screen shot below.

Now I'm wondering if the game is really patched to 1.07.200 as it claims and whether it will still work. I am crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Ok, the patch seems to have worked. The game shows version 1.72 in the main menu.

I got the same error msg. The patch completed and everything seems fine tho'...
