Use RBFConf to Modify Dawn of War II FilesAfter making several script modification using the SGA Reader 2 tool, I found some RBF binary files embedded in the SGA files. Luckily some talented folks wrote a RBFConv utility that helps you convert RBF to text files. After editing them in text format, you can use the same tool to convert the text files back to RBF. I have attached it below for your convenience. This RBFConv is most use full on the RBF files that are archived in the "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\dawn of war 2\GameAssets\Archives\gameattrib.sga" file. When you extract the RBF from that archive, be sure to place them in "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\dawn of war 2\GameAssets\Data\simulation". Of course, you'll have to enable developer mode for your modifications to work. Chieh Cheng I found this helpful little guy yesterday. Makes converting much easier as it is all automated. Be sure to extract the file into the same folder that contains 'rbfconv.exe'. Gives the converter program a nice GUI. =) Striker Excellent! I will have to give it a try. Chieh Cheng I tried loading a piece of modified wargear into the Simulation folder and when i loaded up DOW2 the item was still the same. i double checked the file and it shows the update in the file. am i missing something or do i not have it in the right place Anira Serinn Conversion History: Error code -10 when converting at 10/21/2010 3:20:05 PM Is there a list of what the error codes are?
