Unofficial Private or Public Server for Hellgate: London?

Hellgate: London had always been a fun game for me. I enjoyed leveling up my character and exploring new areas with other players all over the world. When the Flagship Studio went under, the official multiplayer servers sank with it.

As I installed the game again for single player mode, I just think the game will not be the same without other players to fight off the demons with me.

So I starting thinking that wouldn't it be possible to take the dedicated server executable and start our own unofficial private/public servers? Were the dedicated server executable ever released? That would relieve our dependence on the non-existent Flagship Studio. And it would let us enjoy the Hellgate: London multiplayer game as we had before.

What do you think?
