Sid Meier's Pirates! Live the Life - Trading TipsAs a successful pirate in this game, it's easy to acquire lots of ships and too much cargo. When I say too much cargo, I mean you have the cargo, but no where to unload the goods. For example, you arrived at a town, say Tortuga, sold as much as you can, leaving the merchant with no gold, and left the merchant, but not the town, the merchant will still have no gold when you go back. On the other hand, if you sail away from Tortuga and sail right back, the merchant will have acquired a little more gold to buy your goods. It's a little bit easier to unload your "hard-earned" goods this way. Chieh Cheng
