Serial Keys for Origin Games

Recently, I replaced my HP dv6-3050us notebook computer with an ASUS G74SX-BBK7 laptop computer. With this change, I had to reinstall all--Battlefield 3 and Need for Speed: Undercover--my Origin games. During installation, "Need for Speed: Undercover" asked for my product code. I was confused. I bought "Need fo Speed: Undercover" directly from EA's Origin game distribution system. Why do I need a product key for the game?

After being flustered for a while, I clicked the little 'i' button in Origin for "Need for Speed: Undercover". And, voila! The product code was shown on the detail page for the game within Origin.

You can use the 'i' button to find the product code for any game. It shows the serial key for Battlefield 3 as well, even though it's not necessary during installation.
