Playing Diablo II Multiplayer Over Hamachi

What was the last version of D2 or D2:LOD that you VPN Lan with alias? I am using version 1.12

I do exactly as you said in your guide but I am still unable to join. (Firewall set offline as well)
I also see my local IP adress in Diablo 2 and not the hamachi IP.

You can only see the Hamachi IP from Hamachi itself, not through Diablo II. Then write them down on a piece of paper and use them in the game.

how can I give an IP "Peer VPN alias" to a guest, with the new version of Hamachi (2.0.2.84)?

I cant make it work either. Created network in hamachi, friend joined in. Started game, i hosted, he tried to join but wont work. He need to write mine IP address when joining right? one that's written in right upper corner while i'm in game?

I can`t host with my friend, even if we installed the same game , same patch , etc when the world loads it says we dont have matching patch :(
