No permissions to run 'tf'I started playing Team Fortress 2 (TF2), because some of my friends have the game. And shooting things with a bunch of friends had always been fun for me. But I wanted to practice a little bit before I join the chaos of multiplayer game. Being a multiplayer-only game, it's not possible to practice in single-player mode. But I found that it's possible to add AI bots to TF2 King of the Hill (KOTH) maps. Yet, I was unable to bring up the console when I host start the server myself. (Is it not the back-quote key?) So I installed TF2 Dedicated Server on a different Windows XP computer. Upon starting the dedicated server, I got the "No permissions to run 'tf' message. I restarted Steam and the message still occurs. Anyone know how to get around this problem? Chieh Cheng Ok. I figured out how to bring up the console. You have to enable it in "Options" -> "Keyboard" -> "Advanced". After that, you can use the back-quote key to bring up the console. Chieh Cheng
