Diablo 3: Sniping Like a ProAm I confusing Diablo 3 with Battlefield 3? No I'm not. I'm talking about sniping an auction in the gold/real-currency auction house. Sniping is a term used in the eBay auction system when a buyer swoops in at the last minute and put in a winning bid. You can do the same in the Diablo 3 auction houses. In fact, after playing with the bidding side of the auction house for a few days, I believe this is the best way to gear up your semi-low-level characters to advance your farming--therefore, money-making--strategy. The simplest method is to search for the type of equipment you want to acquire, look through the list for auctions that are ending soon with reasonable prices. Put in a bid when the auction is only minutes away from ending. I suggestion bidding a value that's higher than the current bid to foul another sniper. With luck (not much needed), you'll win the item easily. Fido
