Diablo 3: Entering Auction House During a Game

You just found some nice loot. You want to put your loot on the auction house. But there is no way to enter the auction house without leaving a game. In another word, you can't enter the auction house during game play.

Not sure if this is a short-sight on Blizzard's part or they intentionally do not want you to participate in auction while playing the game. But there is still a compromise.

If you are playing a single player game, the best time to enter the auction house is right when you reach a checkpoint. The game is saved, you can leave the game, do you thing in the auction house, and resume the game.

In multi-player mode with friends, you can leave the game at any time. When you are ready to get back in the game, just join your friends' game again. Just be sure that not everyone quits at the same time.
