Left 4 Dead - Don't Accidentally Push 'C'

Left 4 Dead offers two modes of voice communication: 1) press 'C' to talk (like a walkie-talkie); or 2) open microphone. In open microphone mode, the microphone is always on; you talk when you talk. With massive zombie attacks, the open microphone seems to be the most logical choice. Who'd want to press 'C' when hordes of zombies are swarming the four poor virtual souls.

But be careful with your keys. If you hit 'C' accidentally in open microphone mode, the game automatically switches you to the walkie-talkie mode. Then you'll have to go change options again. What a dumb idea on the developer's part!?
