Who to Ban in "Ascension"?
Illaoi - This champion excels at trapping the entire team in a small region for team fights. In the Crystal Scar map, where team fight occurs often, it's just too efficient. Not to mention that she has healing ability. Master Yi - Having Master Yi on a team is like having extra players on a team. That's because his Meditate ability generates health. In this game mode, the team with Master Yi has a champion with nine lives. This is a guarantee ban for me. Heimerdinger - A huge part of Ascension is capturing crystals. It's hard enough to capture them while the enemy team champions are harrassing you. But let a Heimerdinger get on their team, you can basically give up on trying to capture while it defends it. Ascension is a special League of Legends game mode that uses the Crystal Scar map. On this map, champions teleport into the arena from the spawn point. Once in the arena, there is no way to go back to the spawn area. Banning of champions becomes specially important when champions can't go back to spawn to heal. The following are the champions that I always ban in this game mode.
