League of Legends: Don't Play on Battery PowerA few days ago, I reported that "No Lag on 4G Tethering" while playing League of Legends (LOL). However, today, the game was entirely sluggish, completely different from the last few days. I couldn't even move the screen around without feeling like I'm waiting for the bus. Needless to day, my typical first place single death Dominion AI games I used for benchmarking turned into more than 5 death and third place. Afterwards, I realized that it's probably not the 4G wireless network that's lagging out, but rather, I was too lazy to plug in the AC power to my laptop. After plugging the laptop into the AC outlet and plugging the Android SmartPhone into the USB port, LOL ran smooth like silk. Moral of the story... If you want to stay competitive in LOL, without having to tweak your notebook to provide full power on battery, plug your notebook computer into the wall. Plug your cellphone into the wall as well, just in case. You need all the juice you can get in competitive gaming. Fido
