Dawn of War - Soulstorm: Requires CD to PlayI had just bought a copy of Dawn of War - Soulstorm today. Been quite excited to play with the Sisters of Battle and the Dark Eldars in the new expansion. And I had high hopes for the expansion. Like no need for the CD to load. After all, the Dawn of War - Platinum Edition doesn't require CD to run (see "Dawn of War: No CD Required"). So why would Dawn of War - Soulstorm need a CD-ROM to start? But dismayed as I might be, Dawn of War - Soulstorm still requires a CD to boot (see screen shot below). How aweful? Chieh Cheng i feel your pain bro i want to play on my local lan with my brother and i only have 1 set of cd's, so at the minute we can only play with the winter assult and dark crusade armies, why does soulstorm require a cd when the others didnt? Pro gamer I found a way around the CD problem. Just register your copy of Soulstorm on Steam, then download and install Soulstorm through Steam. Then you can play the Steam version without the CD at all. If you don't already have Steam, you can easily get a free copy from Valve's Steam web site. Steam user account is also free. Chieh Cheng
