NOVA Suite final :)

The so promised final version (no help files for the moment) ;)

- You can, from the profiler, enable or disable the "auto-repeat" of each Macro-command.
- You can tune the auto-repeat delay

I let you discover everything before I tell you a bit more about all of this ;)

I have to precise that, you can consider that in the v1.2 RC1, all the macro-commands were functionning as if "auto-repeat" was enabled by default.

Be aware that if you load your old profile with this version, all "auto-repeat" will be disabled by default !
Therefore, if you want to meet the same behavior, do not forgive to enable the "auto-repeat" where you need it !

For this, you will have to check the little check boxes appearing in the Profiler program.
If you need the auto-repeat for ALL the macro-commands, check the appropriate "override" auto-repeat behavior of the commander.

Ahhhh! That's excellent. Perfect timing. I'm looking forward to play some games during my free time this weekend. It will be exciting to try it out and see what more interesting things we can do with it.

Nope it is not excellent. I found a bug (with the "SW button" in profiler), I correct it and I repost it !

Here it is, at last, a stupid bug (when you put your mouse over a Direction Pad text box in the profiler) I introduced with a feature In wanted to inclclude in the next release.

Anyway, It works now !

Hi... Noted in the final version the labels and illustrated buttons are shifted 90deg CW and the slider label point to directional pad buttons

I do not understand... W is the "up" direction as usual, N is the "forward" direction, E is the "downward" push, and S is the direction towards you.
I see what you mean : you thought that the "N" button was the "up" butoon (I use this one for Jump action), is that true ?

In profiler, relative to thumb position over Direction Pad, W label points to front, N points to right of thumb, E points to back of thumb, S and SW have a bug, forward slider label points to left of thumb, backward slider label points NW of thumb.

OKAY ! I just understood !
The "commander" does not play the macro slike they were programmed in the "profiler".

The profiler is working as it is expected, but not the commander.

Nope, I just test it and it is working perfectly at home, I do not understand what problem you meet...

Please try to close the commander when you change a profile, then modify your profile, save it and relaunch the commander. (may be are you using both at the same time).
To make it short and clear : When you modify your profile in the profiler, the commander has to be relaunched in order to load the new set of macro commands (otherelse it will mix old macro-command with new ones.

In the future I may plan an auto-refresh of the commander when a profile is modified, but it is not something obvious to program.

Otherelse I should explain a bit this Direction pad layout (why the West button is represented first in the list in the profiler ?)

Internally, the direction pad is a 4 button device numbered from 0 to 3 (0,1,2 and 3).

When you press West button (Upwards), you press in fact the Button number 0.
When you press North button (away from you), you press button number 1
When you press East button (Downwards), it is the button number 2 that is pressed internally.
And for the South button, it is the one which is close to you and is internally the button number 3.

That's why button W comes first in the list and S (and SW) are at the end)

When you press SW, in fact you press S and W in the same time : Thus I recreated artificially 8 directional buttons.

If you look closely in you control panel , your N50 should appear in the "game devices", open the properties of your N50 :
If you press the Direction pad button, you will see that the cursor in the X/Y box goes North when you press forward, goes West when you press "upward", and so forth.

In the naming convention of the Directions, I just tried to stick to that logic. :)

Just try to affect the 'N' key to the "N" direction, "W" key to "the "W" direction, etc... and then try it in Notepad.
What does it give to you ? (Damned I swear you it works at home and should work for you too !)

The slider works fine too...

I attached here a picture in order to show you wich key of the Nostromo correspond to wish direction.
