Curious . . . Missing Macro?

Just wondering. What happens if I remove a macro from the macro list? What if that macro is already mapped in the profile? What if I forget to remove that macro mapping from the profile?

Very good question !
As long as you do not load it from the profiler, it will stay there.
That's the way it should work.

I have to precise that if you load your profile and that the macro does not exist anymore in the list of macro, it is still recorded in the profile :
- the only moment the macro-list is used is when you want to change a macro command in a profile.
Therefore, your macro will stay there as long you do not change the concerned macro in the profile.

I know it is not very happy for the moment,but at last, it works without problems for the moment.

In a future v2 of the software I think that a few things like that will be reworked.
But let's give us the time to think well about it ;)

Ok. It sounds like that when you edit the profile, the macro information is transferred and stored into the profile itself. So when the Commander loads the profile, it does not read the macro list file at all. Is that what you are telling me?

By the way, just to let you know. The new version of NOVA Suite works beautifully. I've used it for hours with Diablo II. Without the ability to turn auto-repeat on and off, that would have been impossible to use with games like Diablo II.

Left 4 Dead is working well now too. Without the ability to diable auto-repeat, it would take me quite a few tries to turn off the flash-light in the game. But now that's no problem any more.

And moreover, as it is confirmed to work on Vista 32, Vista 64, and even Windows 7 64, there are good chances that one day it becomes opérational for the N52 too, and even some other devices (gamepads, etc...).

I think that I overcome the principal technical difficulties to take into account for such kind of software, and it may evolve this year towards something more generalist..

For the moment I will stuck with the N50, since with it, the project became a very good field to explore a certain kind of software technology and validate certain technical ideas that are too often the fact of non free softwares. :)
