Alien Swarm: Onslaught has AI Director

"A cross between Left 4 Dead, the Aliens movie, Team Fortress 2, and Smash T.V."

That's the way I describe Alien Swarm to my friends. But for the past few times we played the default campaign, we've noticed that the same aliens pops up in the same places. So we can memorize the maps and come up with the optimal path to get through each map.

When we chit chat about Alien Swarm, Left 4 Dead always comes to mind. The only two differences are that Alien Swarm has a top down view and no AI director. Without an AI director, the map would be the same over and over again.

I found out today that the onslaught mode in Alien Swarm provides an AI director. So now we can have the Left 4 Dead experience in Alien Swarm as well!
