Do you have plans to include the 2007 Ford cars and trucks?

I have released FORD CAN Mode $06 parameters. It supports vehicles 2006-2010. If you're still interested, check it out on Android Market. I tested some of the parameters on 2010 Ford F150. Be sure to update alOBD Scanner for everything to work properly.

If you need to connect to your car, you first need to ensure that your
car has OBDII or EOBD plug (DLC) somewhere in the driver's side foot
well. Then, you'd need an ELM-based Bluetooth adapter that you could
purchase on eBay.

PLX devices at http://www.plxdevices.com/
came out with a Bluetooth adapter that will ship in September.

In addition, eBay has devices based on ELM Chip. Just type "Bluetooth ELM" in search box.

If this works how do you plug into the DLC or ECM??

You have to have Bluetooth adapter. It has to be based on an ELM chip.
Usually it plugs in to the vehicle's Data Link Connector (DLC), which,
in turn, connects to the main engine control computer (ECU, PCM or
DME). The generic OBDII commands (including Mode $06) are serviced by
the main engine control computer.

So, in short, a Bluetooth ELM adapter connects to DLC, which
communicates with the main engine control computer (ECU).

Do you/ are you planning any VAG functions for Audi/ VW?

Also wanted to know if the Ford addon adds functionality for the Powerstroke diesels (specifically 1999-2003)
Thanks!

At this time there are no plans for VAG functions for Audi/VW.

As for Ford Diesel - the add on (J1850 one) does provide mode $06 PIDs
for diesels and gasoline engines. Ford's website documents indicate
that there are no differences in generic Mode $06 PIDs for diesel
engines vs. those of gasoline. You could get an insight on how OBD
works specifically for diesels at the below link.

Hi. Do you plan to make Japanese OBD protocol in your program?

Alex

Alex,
I, currently, do not have plans to make specific Japanese OBD protocol largely because I do not have access to its description. As far as I know, most of the PIDs for the American OBDII should work. I may be mistaken, though.
