DTC P2231

My coworker gotten a check engine light this past weekend while driving his 2005 BMW 325 down the freeway at 80 MPH. The check engine light later disappeared. But he borrowed my Actron OBD II AutoScanner CP9175 and got the following code:

P2231

O2 Bank 1 Sensor 1
Signal CKT Shorted
To Heater CKT

Anyone know what could have caused this code? Or what this code means? If I find out any more, I'll update this thread.
